Although having been dealing with the most complex technological transitions across each key industry since the introduction of the internet protocol, my passion lies with digital healthcare for aging societies, the blockchain protocol to revolutionise the transfer of values, services & assets, and robotics (IoT) as the revolution beyond AI. With high volatilities and capital getting attracted by size, I see M&A as the key means for accelerated growth. Consequently, combining innovative technologies (hardware, software, data, protocols, processing) with adaptive business models will be the only viable answer to the four large global challenges going forward: a. Digitisation, b. Climate change, c. Geopolitical conflicts, and d. Demographic change.

I have over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, and Venture Capital Investing, specializing in TMT and Digital & Technology. Currently, I am the Managing Partner of IEG Investment Banking Group across Southeast Asia, Deltavest Funds, and also a Venture Partner at Aroa Ventures. Before joining IEG, I worked at European Investment Banks like Rabobank and BNP Paribas, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. I have advised some of the largest unicorns in Asia on cross-border M&A deals. In my free time, I enjoy fitness training and playing squash.

From Squash Courts to Global Boardrooms: A Journey of Discipline, Passion, and Exploration.
Growing up, I attended a boarding school at a young age, which taught me the discipline to think independently and juggle multiple tasks. I played squash at an international level, representing India at the World Junior Squash Championships in Milan. Competing in sports from a young age fueled my interest in a fast-paced career that involves significant travel. I love traveling the globe for transactions, exploring various international cuisines, and interacting with people from diverse cultures. Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness training and enjoy spending time with my family.

I am an Investment Banker, former BCG consultant, board member, technology enthusiast, founder, and IT-sector executive with professional experience in Oslo, London, Paris, and New York. I bring a unique blend of experience, including global tech investment banking, selling a software company to IBM, merging software companies, executive leadership at Microsoft, founding, funding, and building a new internet services company, and leading post-acquisition integration at a major media company.

I am fascinated by how M&A can be incredibly value-creating for founders and owners alike. It has long been a passion of mine to bring these – sometimes complex – deals to fruition, and to see the enormous gaps in value creation that happens over time from succesfull M&A.

Interesting Fact
I once found myself without a roof when a hurricane hit my house in Bergen. In that situation you are completely at the mercy of the elements and you depend on your instincts and your adrenaline level. Quite often, that’s when you perform at your best and I love it when situations become so intense and I am fully focused.

I hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Oslo and BI Norwegian Business School, and I completed the Board Programme at INSEAD.
