Another European landmark EducationTech transaction by IEG: The sale of StackFuel to Multiverse
Multiverse, Europe’s only EdTech unicorn and largest AI upskilling platform, has completed the acquisition of StackFuel, Germany’s leading provider of data and AI training. The transaction marks a significant step in Multiverse’s European expansion strategy and accelerates workforce transformation in Europe’s largest economy.
IEG – Investment Banking Group exclusively advised the founders and shareholders of StackFuel on the successful sale to Multiverse.
Headquartered in Berlin, StackFuel has established itself as a trusted upskilling partner for large enterprises including Mercedes-Benz, IAV and Telefónica, delivering high impact data and AI programmes with a best-in-class programme completion rate of 92%. The company was founded by Leo Marose and Stefan Berntheisel, who will both join the senior leadership team of the combined organisation to ensure continuity and support further growth in Germany.
Together, Multiverse and StackFuel aim to train 100,000 workers in Germany in AI skills, supporting workforce transformation at scale and contributing to Germany’s ambition to become an AI nation by closing the AI and data skills gap.
