Driving a catamaran around a Maldives island without knowing if there us sufficient wind to come back (there was none).

WeChat! It makes the communication with my Chinese colleagues so much easier.

"Sand in God's mills" by C.C. Berguis (Egon-Maria Zimmer). An excellent combination of a historical novel and a political thriller with focus on Japan and China that has given me a new perspective on my European culture and was one of the reasons why I studied in Japan.

 

For a good night out - I recommend Le Kong in Paris or Cookies Cream in Berlin.
