The Deal Würth Elektronik iBE, part of Würth Elektronik eiSos Group, acquires Erwin Büchele Group. IEG was acting as M&A advisor to Würth eiSos and in this function responsible for the coordination and management of the entire process including contacting of the seller, due diligence, valuation of the company, accompanying of the negotiations until closing.
The Partners With total revenues of ca. EUR 11.05 billion in 2015, Würth Group is the world market leader for fastener technology. Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG, which is part of Würth Group, is a supplier of electronic and electromechanical components for the electronics industry. The company currently has a workforce of 6,100 employees and generated revenues of ca. EUR 475 million in 2015. Würth Elektronik iBE GmbH, a subsidiary of Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG, is a leading supplier of customised EMC components and inductors for automotive applications. Erwin Büchele Group is a leading producer of customised rod core chokes, wire bending parts in various designs and SMD rod core chokes for customers in the automotive industry in Europe and Asia. The group was founded in 1946 and has its headquarters in Esslingen/Neckar in the south-west of Germany.
The Perspective The acquisition further strengthens Würth Elektronik iBE’s leading market position and technology leadership in the area of EMC and suppression components for automotive applications.
