The Deal Capnamic Ventures has successfully completed a cooperation and co-investment agreement for the German-speaking region with iris capital. This transaction was closed right after CAPNAMIC has completed the first round of its fundraising for the CAPNAMIC United Venture Fund. The Partners Iris Capital is a leading pan-European VC focusing on digital economy, backed by its main corporate investors Orange and Publicis. Capnamic Ventures is a rapidly rising player on the German VC scene, which recently spun off from the DuMont Schauberg media group.

The Perspective The early stage investor iris capital predominantly invests in Europe. Due to the cooperation, it will co-invest alongside the newly launched multi-corporate Capnamic Ventures Fund in fast growing start-ups of the German digital economy. The cooperation may also extend to later stage investments in Germany.
