The Deal Westdeutsche Spielbnaken has successfully sold Spielbank am Fernsehturm to Spielbank Berlin (Gustav Jaenecke). IEG - Investment Banking Group has acted as advisor to WestSpiel-Gruppe. IEG was responsible for the valuation, preparation of transaction documents, support in due diligence as well as support during the negotiation phase.

The Client The WestSpiel Group, based in Duisburg, operates six casinos throughout Germany: Aachen, Bad Oeynhausen, Bremen, Dortmund-Hohensyburg, Duisburg and Erfurt. In addition there are two branches in Aachen and Bremerhaven. In 2012, public coffers and charitable institutions received a total of 56.949 million euros from the WestSpiel Group's casino operations.
