Acquisition no42 of 2022 is now official! VISMA enters the German software market through the acquisitions of BuchhaltungsButler.

The Background

The Partners
VISMA was founded in 1996 in Oslo, Norway, through the MultiSoft, SpecTec and Dovre Information Systems merger. As the leading provider of mission-critical cloud software to SMEs and the public sector in Europe, VISMA offers ERP solutions for industries including accounting, payroll, and human resources management.
The 2015-founded SaaS (Software as a Service) business BuchhaltungsButler provides financial management software emphasising accounting automation. Small enterprises are the majority of the clientele.

The Perspective
The VISMA Group now consists of 170 businesses throughout Europe and Latin America after making 42 acquisitions in 2022, including a maiden market launch in France.
