Intern in Investment Banking (m/f/d)

IEG - Investment Banking Group is present at eight international locations and offers entrepreneurial solutions for digital innovations and business models in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, financing and principal investments. Selected transaction partners were: Barzahlen, eBay, Deutsche Post AG, figo, Financial Times, Giga, Media Saturn, momox, MotorTalk, Payleven, reBUy, Rocket Internet, smava, Thalia, TNW, TrustYou, and Würth. To continue this growth and to strengthen our team of 80 professionals worldwide, we are looking at our head office in Berlin for an Intern (m/f/d) for a period of at least three months with immediate effect.

Your Responsibilities

• You will accompany the deal team in the preparation, execution and closing process of transactions.
• You actively support the deal team in the creation of financial models and enterprise value analyses.
• You create strategic market & competition analyses.
• You develop expressive pitches for potential mandates in an international team and actively contribute to client acquisition.

Your Profile

• Enthusiasm for digital topics, disruptive innovations and new technologies
• Advanced bachelor's degree in economics, preferably with a financial focus
• First experience in M&A, corporate finance, corporate development, consulting or auditing preferred (ideally through an internship)
• Excellent social as well as very good German & English skills
• High willingness to learn and perform and independent and structured way of working
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Having fun working in an international team and facing new challenges every day
