FOR THE SECOND TIME IBA (International Bar Association) organized the IBA Startup Conference in London. On November 15th leading dealmakers, entrepreneurs, investors and venture capitalists gathered to discuss recent issues, trends and topics. Moreover the conference focused on latest funding terms in Europe and put a special emphasis on the clients' perspective. The event was hosted at Level39; the perfect setting for the conference as Level39 is Europe's largest technology accelerator for retail, finance, etc.

IEG Group CEO Stefan Heilmann attended the conference and joined the Session 3 on "Overview of current trends in the European startup industry." The session gave exciting insights of current trends and landscapes of the European startup industry. Andreas Nelle (RAUE) and Frederic Verspreeuwan (Astrea) led through the panel. Stefan Heilmann and Omar Mohout (Siris) complimented the panel. Possible trends that were discussed during this session were AI, blockchain technology, future of mobile apps, VR and IoT.
