Hard Fork Decentralized in London

Hard Fork Decentralized in London

IEG CEO Stefan Heilmann attended the event to meet leading blockchain, crypto, and tech companies all across London

IN GOOD TIMES AND IN BAD. At the beginning of 2018, the blockchain and crypto hype has reached its peak. With cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum at an all-time high, the industry was psyched about everything that has to do with the blockchain technology. Now at the end of 2018, the enthusiasm has slightly cooled down, due to the sinking value of cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless, blockchain as such is still one of the most discussed topics these days. The guys from The Next Web have initiated the Hard Fork Decentralized conference that allows the attendees to get the chance to meet leading blockchain, crypto and tech companies at multiple locations and by that, the event transformed the city into an interactive hub. The event took place from December 12 till December 14th all over London.

During the first conference day, Stefan Heilmann has joined the Hard Fork Pitch Battle. Blockchain startups | projects | organizations were granted the opportunity to present their unique and innovative use cases and get the chance to further their business as well as win tickets to the flagship conference hosted by The Next Web in May 2019. Besides Stefan Heilmann, Kavita Gupta, Founding Managing Partner at Consensys and Tomer Federman, Founder and CEO at Federman Capital complimented the pitch battle panel. This session took place on December 12th at 4:30 pm (GMT).
